I’ll be on two panels at MLA in Philadelphia this winter.
I co-organized “Feelings of Structure,” a roundtable on the ways that affect theory and institutional speak to one another, with the brilliant Scott Selisker. The other panelists are Joe Jeon and Patricia Stuelke, with Lauren Berlant responding to our precirculated papers. I’ll be talking about puerility.
Yohei Igarashi organized the other panel I’ll be on, “ELIZA at 50.” The other panelists are Ryan Heuser and Marijeta Bozevic. I’ll be talking about ELIZA, Villiers, the app Pager, and fantasies of free care work.
